Well what a happy way to end the horrible free agency season. After losing Drury, Briere, and Zubrus and forced to pay $50 million to Vanek, it seems there is light at the end of the tunnel.
The Sabres signed Roy last Friday with a 6 year deal. Today the Sabres have once again avoided arbitration and signed D-man, Nathan Paetsch.
Buffalo only has to pay $3 million for 3 years for a player that can have one of the biggest impacts on the team. The doctor to the poor PP last year and the missing link in the armor of the Defense. Expect to see Paetsch play a vital role on the Sabres this year.
Last Year he had 2 Goals, 22 Assists, +10.

Hi there -- sorry I'm posting this right here (couldn't find your e-mail address).
I have been deeply inspired by your blog and now have started to write my own. I would be happy to have a few regular readers and therefore ask you if we could do a "link exchange"?
Please let me know whether you are interested. I live in Switzerland and am excited to find out if I can join the English speaking bloggers' community.
Best,
Simon
