It took Danny Briere less than 24 hours to decline the contract proposed by the Sabres. It is rumored that the deal was a $5 mil for five years similar to the deal Briere offered the Sabres last summer.
I'm sure Darcy will offer another offer because when you bargain, you don't start with the highest amount you are willing to pay. You in low and compromise. Lets hope other teams don't start high and go higher.
This news shows that Buffalo will have to dig deep if they want to keep both Drury and Briere.
